About CMSCtrl
CMSCtrl is a simple and robust Content Management System that works on any web site.
It lets you
- View and manage files on your site
- Create new pages from bespoke templates
- Copy, move and delete web pages and other files
- Upload all types of files
- Create new images from your uploaded images
- Edit text-based files including HTML, PHP, CSS, JavaScript and Perl
- Add plug-ins like a shopping cart, email newsletters or a blog. See the plug-ins section for more details
And you don't need to know any HTML.
There's just one snag though
CMSCtrl is only available when you get Doepud Web Design to design you a beautifully-crafted, mobile-friendly and accessible web site... which isn't really a snag when you think about it!

Email Newsletters
Email marketing is where it's at, honestly. It's cheap and effective! Here's how it works:
- You collect subscriber details (name and/or email address) from your site or by hand
- Write some dazzling newsletters
- Send them out

Ecommerce
Sell your wares online. The ecommerce market is enormous. Research shows that the number of people buying online is increasing rapidly. Time to cash in! Here's how it works:
- Add a product to your shop
- Someone buys your product (so you delivery it)
- You get paid
- People start talking about how wonderful your shop is and your sales start to go through the roof

Image Gallery
Display images in an easy-to-use gallery. Add captions to the images.

Forum
A forum is a great way to encourage discussion and debate, especially if you have a product, group or idea that lots of people are interested in.
We use a third-party Forum software called PunBB, which is accessible and flexible. We can style it to look like your site.
A blog
Blogging is a great tool for building up regular visitors to your site. Share your news and encourage comments in return. Here's how it works:
- Write a blog post
- Categorise your blog posts
- Generate Technorati tags and links to Digg and Delicious
- Preview your post before publishing
- Publish your posts at a particular time and date
- Moderate comments
- Your blog generates an RSS feed on the fly

A poll
Get feedback on whatever subject you like with a cool little poll. Here's how it works:
- Provide a question
- Provide some options for visitors to choose from
- Display results on the site
- You can also display all previous poll results as well
The plug-in is still being developed but it's almost ready to hit the street, so watch out!
Site search
We're talking about a bespoke site search which will search the content of your site. This could be specific content, like your blog posts or your image gallery or the products in your ecommerce shop, or it could be the whole site; the options are endless. You tell us what you'd like us to search.
